SPONGE SHEETING

Silicone sponge rubber is a closed cell elastomeric material that is designed for exceptionally reliable sealing, cushioning, vibration insulation
and insullation.

Silicone sponge is resistant to environmental extremes from Ozone to UV rays and has an extremely wide temperature range from 230°C
to -60°C making it the ideal sealing material in applications where environmental conditions are unstable or volatile.

Narm Rubber silicone sheet is a resilient and versatile silicone solid rubber. This is the ideal sheeting material for gaskets and seals used in industrial applications where adverse temperatures are present or where an inert, robust polymer is required. All our solid silicone sheeting is FDA compliant for use with food and drink contact.

FDA compliant silicone rubber products will meet both national and international legislation requirements preventing unwamted chemical contamination of food products.

Using the latest state of the art processing equipment, Narm Rubbers solid silicone sheeting is manufactured to the highest quality on calendered sheeting lines equipped with automated laser gauges for the tightest dimensional controls.

High impingement nozzles are used to evenly distribute the heat over the entire surface through the oven, enhancing quality, performance and repeatability to produce the best quality silicone sheeting which can be used in a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, construction, electronics, energy, food, mass transit and oil & gas.

Silicone solid tubing is supplied to a diverse range ofindustries and markets – ranging from Lighting andConstruction to Dairy, Automotive and Aerospace. Every industry and market has its own requirements interms of specications and approvals.

We mix all grades in-house so that all our extrusionproducts perform to the highest standards of quality andmeet a widerange of customer specications and requirements.Using our state-of-the-art laboratory and in-house mixing facilities we rigorously test each batch beforeproduction and can adjust formulations to meet yourunique needs.

SPONGE EXTRUSIONS

Narm Rubber’s silicone sponge extrusions aremanufactured, designed and developed specically forthe manufacture of extrudedsponge products. expanSil™sponge is manufactured in a continuous productionprocess, allowing for much longer silicone sponge coil lengths.

This can help signicantly reduce set-up and changeover times and increase your operational eciency and competitive advantage.

GP materials offers all the resilience and versatility of silicone rubber and are ideal for industries where adverse temperatures are an issue or alternatively, where there are uneven sealing surfaces requiring a supple material

Extruded silicone rubber seals & gaskets provide outstanding high and low temperature resistant properties. Extruded silicone is very resistant to deteriorating effects such as ozone, electrical current, weathering and radiation. Under normal operating conditions temperatures as high as 500°F/260°C and as low as -150°F/-101°C can be achieved with extruded silicione.

The estimated useful life of silicone rubber is shown in the table below. Useful life is defined here as the period of time during which the rubber retains an elongation of 50% or more. Oven and dryer access panel and door seals can be installed easily using seals from our wide variety of profiles. Silicone seals and gaskets are an affordable, long lasting option for your high or low temperature application. Choose tadpole, “e”, flat, round, and “U” shaped designs. Most are in stock and ready to ship! Custom designs are also available.
